Yuvajyothi organized 14 day summer camp for the hostel boys from 15th April 2024- 30th April 2024. 27 boys participated in the summer camp. Different activities, competitions and sessions were held at the campus.
The aim of the camp was to provide a platform to the boys so they can showcase their talents. Different sessions were arranged according to the topics of their interests and needs.
Children were placed in different groups for the full duration of the camp. All competitions and activities were conducted in their groups. Some of the important activities that stood out to the boys were fancy dress competition, music competition, story making competition.
Some sessions were taken by staff and guests focusing on safe and unsafe touch, good and bad habits, meditation and music therapy and mental health.
The final day of camp was prize distribution. All winners and participants received rewards, and special prizes were awarded to the boys who performed well in the camp.
After the camp, all boys were sent to spend summer holidays at their homes.
