International Children’s day was celebrated, Hazaripahad community ground on the 19th Nov and at Deepshika Centre, Tulsi Nagar Padi on 20th Nov.
Almost 200 children gathered to celebrate at both the events. Ms Dipika Mohant, police officer from Sitabuldi police station was the guest of honour at Hazaripahad. PSI Vinod Wade and constable Manohar Dodke from the Wathoda Police station. They all spoke about the safety of the children specially when they run away from home in anger and the consequences the children have to face in the future. They encouraged them to focus on their education and the try to build a bright future.
Fr. Adv. Praveen Monteiro spoke about the legal rights of the children. Social workers Mukesh Sindodiya and Shubham Motghare also attended the events .ICID staff Margaret, Sharda, Bhalavi, Dipika and Papita also attended the event.
Games were conducted for the children and the presents were given to the winners and all the other children.
