On Account of international girl Child Day Indian Centre for Integrated Development (ICID-NGO) has organized “Beti Samman Mahosav” at CJS Memorial Hall, Seminary Hills, Nagpur on 15/10/2023. Mrs Chayya Raut, Child welfare Committee Chairperson, presided over the program, she addressed the Children regarding the safety and the rights. Mr Mushtaq Pathan, District Child Protection Officer was the guest of honour, reiterated that children should grow in a safe environment and the District administration has been working for the rights and protection of the children. He also hailed the work done by the ICID organisation towards children in and around Nagpur. Fr Sunil Tirky, Parochial Administrator of Rosary Parish stressed the importance of education among girl children. Director of ICID Fr. Adv. Praveen Monteiro said ICID has been committed to work towards Girl Children’s education and towards their upliftment in realising their dream.
Present were social worker, Mr. Shubham Motghare, Mrs Rebecca Mudaliar, Mr Avinash Mandal and Mr. Yashwant Choukshe. Ms. Kiran Solanki Compared the program and Nilima Bhongade expressed vote of thanks.
The session was held on mental Health and coping with stress. It was conducted by Psychologist Mr. Avinash Mandal.
Medical camp was held and the hemoglobin test was done by Dr. Ujwala.
Children were taught the importance of Diet by Inner Wheel Club Nagpur. Cultural program and Quiz Competitions trilled the Children.The day long program was attended by 200 Girl children and staff of ICID.
